The Transitioning to Family Care for Children Online Course is a 9 week course.
Free training begins on September 20, 2021 and runs through November 19th, 2021. The training will provide an overview of the key concepts and steps that are important to a successful transition process. This is an in-depth, guided learning process that connects participants with colleagues going through the transitioning process.
The course aims to come alongside individuals, churches, small groups, or faith-based organizations who want to build their knowledge and think critically about how to transition their ministries away from residential care to care within families.
The course utilizes live presentations and short videos with transition experts and practitioners, as well as downloadable activities, guidance, resources, and a private Facebook group to connect with fellow cohorts to help align your work with biblical principles, a strong evidence base, and a growing movement within the Church that affirms the importance of family in every child’s life.
