Are you ready to take next steps in the transition from residential to family-based care?

We have developed a 3-day in-person event for U.S.-based organizations serving orphaned and vulnerable children around the world. The purpose of this event is to enhance your learning and connections in the journey of transitioning from residential care to family-based care.

With interactive learning sessions, coaching from seasoned child welfare professionals with experience around the world, and peer-to-peer learning, the Transition Connection event will equip you with the knowledge and connections to take your next steps in the transition process.

Facilitators

Transition Connection event facilitators have leadership experience with an organization’s transition to family-based care or supporting other organizations in transition and have coached others through the transition process. Each event is tailored to the needs of participating organizations and, thus, facilitators with the right area of experience, such as geographical knowledge, will be at each event. Cost

An individual’s participation in a Transition Connection event is valued at $1,000 but is offered free of charge to qualifying organizations, thanks to the generosity of our donor, First Fruit, Inc. The event also includes daily lunch, dinner, coffee breaks, and materials.

Participants will need to pay for travel and lodging.
